Doug Stroud Joins Bradford National Bank
Greenville - Bradford National Bank president Frank Joy announced today that Doug Stroud has joined the bank as part of its executive staff and will serve as a senior vice president. The appointment was approved at the September meeting of the Bradford National Bank Board of Directors.
Stroud was a partner with West & Co., CPA’s, LLC in Greenville and had worked for the accounting firm for over 20 years.
In his new role at Bradford National Bank, Stroud will focus on new business development and work closely with existing businesses and individuals, assisting them with their financial needs.
President Joy said, “We are very pleased to have Doug join our team at Bradford National Bank. Not only does he bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial matters he is also well known and respected in our community and will bring an enhanced level of service to our clients.”
Stroud said, “I am really excited about joining the staff at Bradford. I have been on their Board of Directors for several years and am very happy to become an employee of the Bank. I find it invigorating to start a new chapter in my professional career and consider myself fortunate that it is with an institution that has been such a huge part of the Greenville community for almost 145 years. It’s especially gratifying to be able to change jobs and still remain in a community that our family has enjoyed for so many years.”
Stroud graduated Cum Laude from Indiana State University with a degree in accounting in May, 1979 and passed the November 1979 CPA exam. He is very active in community organizations. He is a member of the Commercial Club, on the Southern Illinois board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, served two terms as president of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and is Finance Chairman at the First United Methodist Church. He is also on the Greenville College investment committee and has been a member of the Greenville Regional Hospital board for over eighteen years.
